**Take note, that Cockroaches are harder to kill than bed bugs, as these critters move much faster. We haven’t had a lot of experience with cockroaches but we have found some live ones before a bed bug heat treatment that ended up dead afterwards.
“Heat treatments for cockroaches will kill 100% of the insects and their eggs. Pesticide-based indoor cockroach control methods raise concern over the safety of occupants. Heat can be used to kill every type of cockroach and their eggs throughout the structure, even in places pesticidal fumigants, sprays, or dusts cannot reach. Heat synergizes the effectiveness of desiccant dusts and many pesticides. Insects have developed resistance to many pesticides, but cannot become heat resistant at the temperatures and durations we prescribe. Additionally heat can kill bacteria and viruses. A recent independent analysis reports that the GreenTech Heat Titan 800 (Which is what we, at Burnin’ Bugs use) is the most powerful commercial-grade, portable, propane bedbug heater available. Commercial direct fired heaters provide the best and most thorough heat treatments for cockroaches.”
